In order to assure high quality mediacal care, medications are only prescribled after an office evaluation.  Your prescription indicates the appropriate number of refills needed to complete your course of treatment for acute problems or until your next office visit is needed for chronic problems.

If you have completed your course of treatment and are still having symptoms, you need to be re-evaluated. Please schedule an appointment 703.379.8879.  For chronic problems, if you are running low on medication it is your reminder that you need to schedule an appointment.

The prescription will indicate the appropriate number of refills. Additional 
refills are not routinely authorized over the phone. Office visits are usually required.   
For those with mail-in pharmacy benefits, please anticipate your needs. It may take up to two weeks for pharmacies to  fill mail order prescriptions.
